Security
At BenTek, security is our number one goal. We implement the latest in security technologies to provide the maximum protection for your personal information.
SAS 70 Type II Certified
A SAS 70 Type II Audit provides independent verification of a company's infrastructure, applications, and processes to ensure that they have controls that are necessary for effectively hosting and securing data. BenTek complies to industry standard best practices when it comes to the safety and security of your data. Since 2009, BenTek performs annual SAS 70 audits using an independent auditor to ensure that all security controls related to the development and operations of our services meet or exceed industry standards.
HIPPA Compliant
The HIPAA Privacy Rule provides federal protections for personal health information (PHI) held by covered entities and gives patients an array of rights with respect to that information. BenTek maintains full compliance with all Federal regulations regarding PHI.
Users' session information is encrypted via SSL using a 256-bit Thawte security certificate with 128-bit step down. BenTek® logs and monitors all transactions in the event of accidental, malicious, or criminal activity.
All BenTek® systems are protected via multiple layers of security including perimeter firewalls, host firewalls, anti-virus applications, and other intrusion detection and prevention systems. Routine updates are performed on all servers to maintain the latest security patches and updates. BenTek® encrypts all data stored and replicated to preserve privacy, authenticity, and integrity of client data.
