Seamless Implementation

BenTek was first introduced to our 1200 + employees during the 2006 annual open enrollment. BenTek immediately solved a variety of enrollment challenges by providing our employees 24 hour access to their current elections, deductions, and all of their enrollment options for the new plan year in one centralized location. Allowing employees to enroll their benefits online also immediately eliminated the headaches and inefficiencies associated with paper enrollments. Lastly, and maybe most important, the ease in which our employees were able to navigate the system eased their apprehensions and allowed them to focus on their benefit options and elections (the BenTek support staff is also great!).

Regardless of the types of plans the County has provided over the years or the funding arrangements (fully / self insured), BenTek staff has always worked well with County staff and our vendors to make our implementations as seamless as possible. BenTek's administrative capabilities, such as electronic eligibility updating and customized reporting, continues to be invaluable benefits administration tools.

Saved Time and Money

The City of West Palm is pleased to provide a letter of recommendation for BenTek, Inc., and the BenTek online enrollment system. The City has utilized the BenTek online enrollment system for approximately two (2) years and has gone through two (2) open enrollment periods with the system in place.

BenTek's approach in learning the City's business model and current benefits/payroll system was instrumental in making the transition to an online enrollment system. Their team approach for all aspects of the project from working with the City's MIS department to assisting in the training of employees made the transition seamless.

The City of West Palm Beach has been "green" for several years so changing to an on-line enrollment system was seen as a positive move. This change has brought savings in the time employees have to leave their worksite for enrollment meetings, benefit questions, etc., but also for a reduction in printing costs. Paper saved is believed to be well over 25,000 sheets for one open enrollment. On an on-going basis, employees have access to all benefit SPDs, beneficiary information, forms, and links to all carriers at their fingertips.

Incredibly Helpful Staff

I wanted to take a brief moment to provide you a letter of recommendation regarding the staff at BenTek, Inc. and the BenTek benefits enrollment and administration software.

Best Open Enrollment Ever

Family Central utilized BenTek this past open enrollment season and from my experience, everything has gone great. We were very interested in online enrollment and included it as part of the RFP process this year and BenTek, Inc. by far superseded all other participants.

The BenTek team worked closely with our Benefit Specialist over the past few months and the system was up and ready for our open enrollment in the first week of May. This was very important to us being we have offices in three counties and a Child Care Center at the Port of Miami. BenTek really made the process much simpler and less stressful that I ever anticipated.

On May 29, 2010, we had 100% of all of our employees enrolled in BenTek. This is the first time we were not deep into June trying to get all of the paperwork completed. Our best recommendations came from our employees who were so complimentary of the process and felt this was the best Open Enrollment we ever had…this validated everything we had hoped for with this new process.
