The Administrative portal provides a centralized location to manage all benefits related information and automates various tasks such as personnel updates, eligibility editing, premium reconciliation, billing adjustments, and "self-bill" carrier / third-party administrator invoicing.
Personnel Updates
BenTek® allows the Benefits Administrator to effortlessly access any employee record and obtain all past, present, and pending elections. BenTek® can accept file imports from any personnel / human resources and payroll system to initially populate its database and accept future updates on a continual basis.
The Benefits Administrator can also manually update and edit any employee record. In addition to the employee's benefit elections, the employee information portal also includes employment data, leave, retiree, and COBRA information as well as provides a history of all edits and changes made to an employee record.
Electronic Self-Bill
On an ongoing basis, BenTek® transmits the results of its personnel and payroll audits back to the applicable carrier / third-party administrator to ensure all benefit elections and deductions are kept current and to allow for the expeditious processing of eligibility updates and billing adjustments.
BenTek® employs a secure utility to send and receive files between you, your carriers, and TPAs. We preserves the integrity of your data and safeguards the privacy of all Protected Health Information (PHI).
Personnel & Payroll Auditing
BenTek® can accept file imports from any carrier or third-party administrator system. BenTek® uses this information to reconcile the carrier / third-party administrator's current employee eligibility and premium amount against what the entity has recorded and is deducting from payroll. BenTek® then provides the Benefits Administrator with the ability to identify and correct any discrepancies before actual payroll is run which ensures an employee's benefit deductions are accurate before deductions are taken from the employee's paycheck.
